Founded in 1998 by Ned and Lynda Brennan, the business was born from a clear need for dependable, custom-built mining equipment in regional Queensland. Ned brings over four decades of industry experience, including six years as an underground miner and 41 years as a qualified boilermaker. This firsthand knowledge allows him and the team to understand the unique challenges of underground environments and deliver solutions that work.
In 2012, Chris Brennan joined the business, bringing with him a wealth of experience from a successful career in the building industry. A licensed builder in both QLD and NSW and a qualified carpenter with 17 years experience. Since coming aboard Chris has played a key role in bringing attention to detail, customer focus, a new level of capability and strategic direction to our mining business.
Brennan’s Welding has continued to grow, driven by strong demand and a reputation for excellence. To meet this growth, we’ve expanded operations with a purpose-built, large-scale fabrication facility in New South Wales. While our Emerald site continues to focus on serving the coal mining sector, our NSW facility is fully equipped to manage a wide range of metal fabrication projects across industries.
